I noticed while playing Thief 3 TDP; when entering 3rd person view, Garrett is substantially shorter than the guards.
I figured maybe it was since he's in a some-what slouched/sneak posture as he ambulates. Still though, even if he were to stand up at full height, he would still be about a head shorter than said guards.

So he's 4' tall, as with most of the other NPC models in the game?
Interesting.

Last I checked 60 inches was 5 feet.

Gravity is defined in the leaked source as 32.0 units per second per second. Earth gravity is 32.2 feet per second per second. Make of that what you will.

Curious that there's a 0.2 difference. I wonder if at the time it was better for performance to make it an integer instead of a float. Or, perhaps making it a whole number was just easier to work with.

I said it was defined as 32.0, not 32.

I'm just picturing the masked ball scene in Eyes Wide Shut, when Tom Cruise is in his hooded cloak and mask :cheeky:

Male AIs in Thief 2 are between 6.20 and 6.6 units high, while female AIs are approximately 6 units.
Except for the Mechanist priest, who is only 5.67 units.
From that, you can assume that the scales are off by about 10%, so a tall male is 6 feet, while Garrett is the same height as the females, who are around 5.5 feet, or five foot six inches, or 167cm.
Note that almost all the AIs were shorter in Thief 1, with the males being generally around 6 units exactly, and the females being around 5.8-5.9. The exception is the of Hammerite guards, who were a massive 6.75 units.
