As the title says... I'd put him somewhere around in his 50's perhaps?
What about the other OC characters... Diego, Delaxroix and others?
Bjossi on 22/4/2007 at 18:25
I'd guess Delacroix is in her 30s.
Why are you wondering that, by the way?
Angelfire on 22/4/2007 at 18:48
Just wondering, no particular reason...
No reason at all, yep. Nothing.

Does his inflight age include time dialation effects due to the speed of travel? Or would that be negated by how the engines work? Or were they not going that fast the whole time?
Bjossi on 22/4/2007 at 23:03
Good question. I have no idea how it works in physics, but to my knowledge one can't travel faster than the speed of light, but can go slower but go farther due to being in another dimension. This is most likely BS so don't quote me on that. :o

It doesn't really matter, reason being that all we have to go by are dates. The dates are given to us with respect to a particular frame of reference, most likely either those on Earth or those on the ship but since nobody on Earth knew what the hell was going on during the incident, the dates probably come from the ship's frame of reference. If that's the case, than the frame of reference itself is experiencing any applicable dilation and so you don't have to adjust anything. Korenchkin's age depends on the times and dates as they are given to us so there's no adjustments to be made.

HOLY FUCK
I've been looking for that one for YEARS, literally
YEARS, and you just... have it! Arg! When did you get it? No web search returns any result and believe me I tried all the keywords you can think of. I looked
everywhere...
Even Ken Levine told me he didn't have anymore and didn't know where it was when I eventually asked him as last resort.
You might wanna send him a note, he said he'd like to have a copy back too. :)
Now if you'll excuse me I'll be upstairs having a heart attack.
In other words, thanks.:thumb:
