 Hehehe! :laff:
But, Man, that would totally ruin my image of Garrett as a macho, cynical loner. :nono:
Thankfully, Thief is quite challenging for all age groups. When my little sis plays FMs, I load them through the editor so she can be invisible and even fly if she wants. Then she goes around using her blackjack on every guard she meets (no zombies or beasties, please!). She even encouraged (aka "forced") me to build a little fan mission she designed (Garrett and the Beanstalk). Ahh, they grow up soooo fast;)

I know of at least 5 people over 22+ who play games. Their ages are 36, 39, 41, 46 and 49. And many of their friends play. ANd one of them is a champion HL player on line who created a specific move that everyone now uses.
Lots of adults play these games but they keep it secret. Non-gamers would simply not understand. :p
(non-gamers have NO IDEA what they are missing :thumb: )

Well, now you know one more. Wow, you really understand me...it's like you can see into my soul!
“Hi, I'm Cyrano, and I... I... play Morrowind.” [Hi, Cyrano.]
Wait, I'm not ready to come out of this particular closet. Besides I can stop playing any time I feel like it. I don't have a problem. It's not like I'm one of those losers who has lost his job and/or wrecked his marriage over playing games... *sob* ...Oh my God, what have I done?

I'm 16. Been playing Morrowind since I was 15. Been at TTLG since I was 11. Been playing games of some description or other (read: Super Mario Brothers) since I was about 5.
I also write scripts for a long-running situational comedy aired on a regional radio station. The Radio Times recently described it as "mediocre"
And I also do other things, among them reading, studying, excercising, and posting on internet discussion forums.

Yes, the second paragraph of this post is a total fabrication. I've no idea why I wrote it. Sorry.

lol, what move is that?
Marxist ßastard on 17/7/2003 at 04:14
Triple conc?
Tuco on 17/7/2003 at 23:15
Heh, the only real 'move' I'd say is Bunny Hopping... But that was around before Halflife.
Maybe triple concing, but that's just a result of people getting good at concs, not invention or anything.
I guess there are a few places to conc from that few people utilize...

Half-Life not its mods... Id guess Gauss Jump. I think I have that name right, been to long since I played original.
IF it is a mod, then Id say R-Jump
Tuco on 18/7/2003 at 22:00
Gauss jump? There are no rail-guns in Halflife.
And if you mean that weapon you charge up, I figured how to jump with it before I heard of anyone else doing it, so it's not like I copied it off anyone.
And rocket jump wasn't invented in Halflife =) It's much older.
