If you have your discs, search for iv5play.exe, and put it either on your desktop or in your Thief folder, and double-click it.
The FAQ has other ways that are more complicated but if you don't want to go through the trouble, you will have to double-click iv5play.exe almost everytime you want to play.

I think you need a new version of windows media player, or check the "movies" in your thief directory and see with which program the videos open, try with another program. :thumb:

Ok, I didn't find an iv5play.exe but I did find an iv5play application so I copied it to my thief folder, ran it, but the ingame videos still didn't work. :(

Try Start->run and type in: regsvr32 "c:\games\thief2\lgvid.ax"
Where c:\games\thief2 is were you intalled thief. It's suppose to say that something succeeded. If it doesn't then I can't help you but It worked for me. :thumb:
