I stopped the strict "if I die, I have to start again", after I wouldn't have made the prison escape. Miguel's noisy footsteps alerted one of the Unatco troopers at the bad moment, and I died after a headshot. But as the first few missions started to bore me, I continued with rare saves. I had 70 in the end, that's about 10% of what I usually have. ;)
It ended up as the goriest game of DX I have played so far after a while... basically, I used up all the LAWs in the game (and not all on bots for sure.) As I did not want to die (and reload the save from last hour), I went for the nasty stuff. And, uh, phosphor rockets against karkian mothers is kind of funny, actually... o.O
I question that the 0 saves person here in this thread played in "realistic", by the way. :p

only ten saves were requried for me. I got Deus Ex: The Conspiracy. The limit is ten:p
