This will probably remain unanswered... Still: has anyone perhaps counted the number of enemies in the game? I need the number of Maintenance, Security and Assault Bots, all Turret sorts, and Eggs.

Enemies respawn, so there's no answer to that question. It would be possible to know how many eggs and turrets there are, since those don't respawn, but it's not possible to know how many robots you could find in a playthrough.

I know. I don't need the number of alarm spawned enemies, just the OG ones. I could count them myself in ShockEd, but if someone has already done it, all the better.

I suppose you could make a list of what every turret's name is. You know, when you hack one and Xerxes goes "Unit... AR9 compromised..."
But why? Do these things matter?

I need it for the mod. No matter, I'll count them myself.

Didn`t read the posts above? Theres no set amount of enemies in SS2. Its a random amount at any one minute since they spawn at various spawn points in the levels.

I wrote before that I need the once-spawns only. 3rd post. The random amount is true only for hybrids as I recall. No other enemy archetype spawns randomly (or maybe Maintenance do, I don't recall). You will never see a Rumbler, Reaver, etc. spawn in an area you already cleaned.
What do you mean that there are no set amounts of enemies in SS2? Ofcoruse there are, there are those that are included in mis and are therefore always there, and others called in by certain scripts (sort of unavoidable and byso always there, like the Assault Bot on Rick which gets triggered after you step in the icy room with 3 or 4 Assassins), and those called by alarm triggering (completely avoidable).

What icemann said. Enemies do spawn even when there aren't any triggered alarms. Perhaps in ShockEd there is a number indicating the minimum number of enemies that must be present in a level, if SS2 works the same way as SS1.

Never have I seen a Security, Rumbler, Arachnid, etc. spawn randomly. Enemies do spawn, yes - but hybrids, maybe Maintenance on a few places, and that's it.

Protocol droids spawn too in the cargo bays, don't they?
