I am even astonished at this forum and when doing yesterday the question of because the people of Hollywood have not tried to do one movie based on this wonderful game? and then to see its wonderful answers, I have realized of which here are several companions who or are administrators or are moderating or single members.
reason why I dare to do the following questions to them in which I hope not to damage suceptibilities
when a new member lets be it and it becomes a regular member?
as it is chosen to that they are going to be moderating?
who is the owner of this group or form it?
who it chooses to the member to be administrator?
this I ask it because I have realized that for example Nightwalker is moderator and gingerbread is administrator therefore to know to the dinamics and mecanics to me of this wonderful forum

I'll try to answer a few.
You become a member after 30 posts.
Mods are generally chosen by general consensus between the existing admins, as far as I know.
This 'group' was started when Saam made a site about the game System Shock (
http://www.ttlg.com/ss1/triop/index.htm) TriOptimum Corporate Network . Afterwards, he was joined by Digital Nightfall, and together they maintained that System Shock site for some time. Then they moved on and formed TTLG (you can read the story on the last post made by Saam on the link I provided).
I suppose that the admins were chosen by Saam and Digi, and currently they are the persons who keep this site working.
P.S.- This seems a strange place for this thread. It would probably fit better on the Forums & TTLG Website Network forum.

To be honest, as far as that thread went I didn't even realise it was in Thief Hints, otherwise I would have moved it. It was late, I was surfing the forums from the Who's Online page (as I tend to do) and just clicked the post someone was viewing.
Besides, I try not to do moderators' jobs for them as I assume it would irritate them to no end.

Well, I'm not that possessive about the Shock forums ;)
I don't get irritated at all when an admin does something there, since I can't look at them all the time. Especially when I'm asleep.

I have no problem with you doing stuff on my forums, particularly the Thief 1 & 2 one, as I'm the only mod there. Yesterday was very stormy here and I was without internet access off and on plus then the power went out for 12 hours! It's nice to know someone else is keeping an eye on things when I can't. :)

Is there a test I can take to become a mod? Some task involving removing the feather from a gilded dove? or maybe at the least changing my user?
