while im waitin for my first paycheck so i can go snag the game i thought i'd ask a question about the editor.. how good and detailed is it? What im most interested in is the race creation and sign creator. how customisable can you make the race? can you only use human faces in game, i.e. preset pallate, or can you make your own? can you use monsters, how varied are your choices and customisation? i wanted to make a werewolf type character, with a humanoid look and an ability that changed his appearence, is that possible? how about just even making a werewolf looking character period? can you adjust the starting stats, and set how people treat the character?
im just looking for your experiences with how detailed it is and what it lets you do. Customization is what i enjoy most in my games (even in FPS's like CS i gotta have a custom logo that i change constantly ;P) and i hope this editor lets you do whatever you want... oh ya also if you can make your own quests how do you impement them, do you give em to friends to try seperate or do they get implimetned into the actual game?

The editor is the same one they used to make the game so it is pretty open ended, there are a few places where you'll hit a wall on how far you can take something but a werewolf looking character should be no problem at all. As for quests you can incorporate them right into the main game.

hrm.. how about a character that is human and his ability actually turns him into a werewolf? is it possible for abilities to change your physical apearence?

Ack, i believe so but i think it would be more along the lines of the character changing like in sleep than transforming right before your eyes.

You can't create new models with the editor. The game uses .NIF files. Programs to make these files are quite expensive. There are no wolves in the game so even if you could change your model with an ability, you'd still need another program to help.
