Is it lack of energy jimjack or lack of inclination? Just wondering as I'm stressed out 80% of the time but I have bags of energy. If its lack of energy there may be a physical reason rather than emotional and perhaps consulting a doctor to rule out the physical may be useful.
It just that I get home from work and the lack of energy from that leads to a lack of inclination. I think I've wasted more evenings doing nothing. I work three, four days a week and some evenings. But. When I don't have to be at work I have loads of energy to work off. So it's likely to be some kind of emotional rut I'm in..more like not used to working.:erg: One less bit of stress was getting out of a relationship with a girl, the frustration of it was well, stressful.

Try beating a heavy boxing bag. It uses every muscle and there is something satisfying in the primal ritual of brute swing and thunk. Also it wears frustration away because in the end it is still there swinging and mocking you and that makes you realize what a silly bastard you are. You wont win. Life will kill you in the end so you better damn well live it well. And that tends to motivate you into doing something truly worthwhile.

I find killing a hobo with a claw hammer does a lot for me.

get yourself a wood stove/heater, and start chopping wood. Nothing more satisfying than splitting blocks of timber with an axe. Well, I guess there are some things more satisfying, but it sure is a good way to release excess energy/anger/frustration.

For me nothing relieves anger but time. I've tried a punching bag, but I just end up tired, sweaty, and still fucking pissed off, if not more so because I am now mad at the punching bag for not relieving my anger. I can imagine the same thing would happen with chopping wood. I would start to screw up my swings and I would slowly get more and more pissed off.
The only thing I can do when I'm angry is find a place to sit and swear to myself. It usually takes about an hour or two of bored moping before I'm fully back to normal.

Hell yes! I'm not to into the more "raging" music, but when your upset or stressed, it's like a mental version of blowing your nose.

Well I've just discovered a new way of getting rid of all my negative emotions. DromEd. Yeah, I know it won't last but at the moment I'm as happy as a pig in whatever!

DromEd.
That's funny... I remember DromEd always CAUSING stress for me, not relieving it. :D
