Just curious. How do YOU play the game?
Option descriptions:
1. I know the Perfect Character, always level with maximum multipliers for stats, never use unenchanted items, and know the location of every artifact and master trainer from FAQs. I like cheese.
2. I have made my character so getting stats multipliers is easy, and I try to get at least one x5 multiplier on every level. I join all the factions I can, and indiscriminately steal everything that I can and that is worth anything. I sometimes look up neat artifacts from FAQs. I thought up a name for my character class.
3. I have an idea of what kind of a character I play, but I don't think about it much. I join all the factions that give me some benefit. I think about stat multipliers and skill tresholds when I train, and sometimes steal particulary powerful/useful items even from my supposed allies even when not playing a thief.
4. I know the motivations and have at least some kind of an idea of my character's history. I know the friends and foes of my factions and act towards them accordingly. I sometimes think of my stats.
5. I have no weapon skills as Major. I maintain a web page with a story and gallery of my character's adventures. I debate with the Learned Masters in the Elder Scrolls lore forums, and may know all books in the Imperial Library by heart.
(the purpose of the choices was to make both extremes seem like loonies ;)

Wel I've certainly never numberchased... didn't get a single multiplyer above 3x the last time I've played.
I'm somewhere between 3 and 4, I suppose.

I have a power-gaming philosophy on life, which is why I'm so great.
I suppose I would categorize my way of playing Morrowind is by roleplaying a character who is destined to be recognized as a god. Which is roleplaying as a powergamer which is what I am anyway! Hah! fooled you people who thought I was going to be a power-gamer!
Which of course means that I am a 'Number Chaser' as well, since that's what part of being a power gamer is...
Anyway... roleplayers are gay.

I still say you should have voted Power Gamer, you loonie. ;)
Hey, Striker, change Tuco's vote to one! ;) You Know It's Right. ;)

One vote for ALL please

Pah, I didn't use any guides, charts, faqs etc when I played the game(there were really none my first time through it...), so I can't be a 'power-gamer'!
I instinctively knew everything about Morrowind before I played it, that's how cool I am. I even knew how to get the alternate ending that enabled me to become a god.

Aren't numberchasing and powergaming pretty much the same thing anyway?

I play with the most disadvantage to myself to make it hard as possible, I've played every race, class and birthsign and I am one of the people who makes those FAQ (well I've only done the legendary weapons of bloodmoon and tribunal, there are already plenty of walkthroughs for MW)
So I guess I'd be a roleplayer.

Technically, that would make you a numberchaser...

Bah, you're a dishonest lot. ;)
