The highest fog level you can set is 10 (ie, in the cfg file). Although, this itself doesn't let you see very very far distances. I was wondering if it is possible in any way to increase the draw distance to way beyond 10 so you can see as far as you want.

There are levels where the fog distance has been FORCED to be near (e.g. the Crypt and the level under the prison).
But the maximum distance of the fog is very far and you shouldn't have to complain about it.
I can assure you that you can see from one extremity of the Arx city to the opposite one with the fog at it's maximum.

Agree. Actually when I posted that message I hadn't gotten past the first level where fog is delibaretly restricted.
