Just one little question. I left an answer for someone on the T2X forum. Feeling enboldened by FFox's birthday picture I left a hyperlink. The address had a hash sign near the end. I searched my keyboard in vain. I couldn't paste it into the box, although I guess I could have pasted it  into the message block itself. It still worked but where is the hash key?

# there it is
for me, it's just left of return/enter, above the right hand shift.

For us QWERTYs it's shift + 3. If you still can't find it and you're using windows, you could copy it from the character map±

Me too. Shift-3 gives us Brits the "£" sign (that's the pound sign for you colonials :p)

Yep thanks, it's there. My only excuse was that I'd had a long day and couldn't see straight Always had trouble with the tilde key when I wanted get into the console and cheat.
Many thanks. :o
By the way, if we brits have the £ sign above 3 and the $ above 4, what about our european cousins ( yes I know we are europeans too but we don't say so) The euro sign is on the keyboard next to the 4.Not quite sure how you get it. Not all of Europe has the euro though.
Sorry I'll stop now. I'm getting like our Swiss friend. Do the swiss still have francs.

I don't have a euro sign on my keyboard, and thankfully I don't need it much here in Norway. £ and $ are ctrl+alt+3 and ctrl+alt+4 though. And AltGr does pretty much the same as ctrl+alt ofcourse.

While on topic, how does one quote several poeple in one post? Does one have to quote one person first, then post, and then edit it with a copy of another quote? Seems pretty inconvenient.

Why, by making several dozen posts by quoting everyone separately ofcourse! Fight the power!
You just have to use the quote tags yourself if you're dealing with more than one quote.

That is exactly what you need to do, however one of the suggestions "Under Consideration" by Jellsoft (who make vBulletin) is a Multi-Quote feature.
