I can't figure out how to pick someone's pocket. And how does telekinesis work?

Picking pockets is easy and, I believe, in the manual.
Sneak up to your victim and 'use' them.

Even when I am in sneak mode, it only lets me talk to them, it doesn't allow me to see their inventory... What am I doing wrong???

I can't seem to see their inventory. All I get is a dialogue box that asks who's there. My only choice is goodbye, and my favor with them drops a bit. Can anyone be more specific in helping me with my problem?

Don't let go of the sneak button when you click... so you sneak up behind them, keep the button held while clicking, then only let go when the inventory appears

Not that I'm aware of, but you do have to be behind them, without attracting their attention.

Next to your weapon/magic icons, you should see a lil' icon that shows a hand lifting a set of keys - that indicates that you're sneaking. If you don't see it, it won't work and they'll be aware of you trying to pickpocket them.
I have also gotten different results when picking pockets with different security skill...so I think it kinda DOES have something to do with it. I haven't tried too much since I suck at it tho' :)
