I just got through playing Deus Ex Invisible War using nothing but the drone biomods (most of the drone biomods never appealed to me so I had never used them before). When reading the description of the Hazard Drone biomod there was an effect that it was supposed to be able to do that I could never get to work.
When the Hazard Drone is at max level the description says that it can turn hazards into bioelectrical energy. I did everything I could think of to make this effect take place and I could never get it to work. I tried standing in hazards but that just drained my energy as it prevented me from taking damage. I tried standing just out of range of hazards so that the drone could spin around me and enter the hazard as it did so, but that never regenerated my bioelectrical energy either. I even tried right clicking on those piles of green goo that you find near greasels but that never worked either. Has anyone ever been able to figure out how to make this biomod regenerate their bioelectrical energy?

I'm afraid that the description seems errorous; increasing the Level of the Hazard Drone mod only increases damage protection and probably reduces energy consumption as well.
They probably took out the energy recharge feature for balance issues.
Hazard Drone is extremely useful in the last portions of the game, providing protection against Mag Rail shots and explosions.
