I've been playing The Sword of Perithia and I just lost some really great shoes, and I want em back, how would I re-aquire an item using the console, I'm pretty sure you can do that. I hate it when they give you something good and then just take it away later on. :grr:

First - are you on a PC or Xbox? The console only works on pc.
Second - you'll need to know (or find out) the object ID for the shoes in order to get them. ID names can be found in the editor or by asking around (also, some object IDs can be found by bringing up the console and moving your cursor over object which are onscreen - however, this doesn't seem to work for uniquely named objects so it may not help in your situation.)
Third - assuming you are on a PC and can figure out the object ID - press Tab to call up the console and type in the following:
player->AddItem "<ItemName>" <Number>
