Okay, here's the thing, and I'm sure that at least one person has already pointed this out, but the Prophet Mohammed is not
everyone's prophet and Allah is not
everyone's god. Those people should learn that. I honestly did not think the cartoon with Mohammed with a bomb in his turban was funny (because I don't care either way about him - he is not my prophet), but these extreme reactions are just wrong. They are showing the world that they are little more than bullies and a mafia by saying things like that. I wouldn't kill people if they made cartoons about Africans being dragged overseas, split from their families, made to be slaves and whose women and children were raped. We've commited genocide on countless Native American Indians. And how about Christians going to war with the Muslims "in the name of Jesus Christ"? As a European American, I feel bad about those things and I feel guilty (even though I am not guilty) about that stuff. Hell, I wouldn't be happy if someone were to make fun of that in cartoons, and yes, it would hurt, but I would understand, because those things
have happened. So if Islam is a religion of peace, why do they react with such hatred and closed mindedness toward us "infidels"? You don't see the Pope or the Vatican declaring war on people who disrespect them, do you? Have you ever heard of a Hindu going medieval on people who didn't agree with him/her and respect his/her beliefs? What about a Buddhist? I will never accept Mohammed as any kind of prophet and I will never bow my knee to any deity called "Allah", but I do not hate the people who do and I will not go on a violent crusade against them just because I don't believe what they believe.

Well you have to assume that at least 45.2% of the human population is certifiably batshit insane, regardless of race, religion, or creed. So with that in mind, I'd say that only 61.4% of Muslims are perfectly reasonable and peace-loving.

All I'm saying is that it's one thing to agree to disagree with beliefs. It's another thing to kill because of disagreements. And no one is innocent of commiting crimes against his/her fellow man/woman.
