No, you have to convert them. I have a separate folder for that and I do it with Irfan View (freeware image viewer). It has a dds plugin and you can batch-convert such images into jpgs in a few seconds.

cool, will grab irfanview.

Oh, and flickr has a program called Flickr Uploadr, it has a bit "idiot-ready" interface, but it lets you batch upload your images (and e.g. automatically assign them to your sets). Just remember not to browse through Flickr website during upload or it will freeze... :nono:

Works lovely batch, thanks.(irfanview) I've uploaded all those textures as well, in case some want to grab 1-2 of them.
So don't you think we need separate folders like walls, rocks, metals etc...on flickr group?
Edit:
Meh, stupid me, I didn't see the tags.:p

Do I need an account to see more than 53 photos by Dr Judym? I thought there were already textures from other authors by now.
Flux on 5/8/2008 at 13:54
I think you do. Because If I'm not logged in I can't see more than 63 as well. If I log in, I can see my and str8g8's textures.
Beleg Cúthalion on 5/8/2008 at 18:12
...or maybe it just needs time because now I see straigait's and Judym's...Judy's...whatever. :weird:
He, timber frames! I think I'll have use for them. :sly: Thanks a bunch. And we could even do catacombs now. Let's see what I can offer...

Looks good, how are you finding modo to work with?
The damn thing is awesome. Models like Lightwave, has all the neat features of Max, and sports one of the best laid out interfaces I've had the pleasure of using.
When my 30 days are up, I'm gonna be sorely tempted to buy it.

You could change your time settings to 2007 just before the end; still works surprisingly often these days.

Guys, before it gets even more messy - before you add your textures to group, put them in a set, sort them alphabetically and then start adding. It's already easy to get lost in it, especially that there are some doubled normalmaps here and there ;)
