Soon I will carve one out and build a throne from the tusks of elephants! Like kind of a rattan / wicker thing only obviously not woven and very bigger. I'm thinking it'd end up looking a lot like the pilot's cockpit in Alien. Which kinda sucks.

No single person is an example for a country.
Lately I read that the alien in that seat is called "Space Jockey" canonically. In the film it's mentioned that it seems to have grown out of the seat. I thought this was kind of funny, like watching people comment on a Giger sculpture.
