Whats this about houses. I mean I know you can just walk into a house, kill everyone and BAM! youve got yourself a house. But i think someone said you can get deeds to houses?? whats that about?

There are several plug ins that allow you to buy a house. Try bankmod (2.0 I think), it has banks to buy 4 different houses from. The banks also have safe deposit boxes, loan money and you can open a savings account.

You can also join up with one of the three great houses, rise in the ranks and have a house/stronghold built for you (it does take a bit of effort to get them to do it though).

I haven't built a stronghold yet. Do they come with lots of crates and boxes? What about tables and shelves?
Cause I've yet to find a house that suits all my needs for storing stuff. I always end up with a loot bag right where I don't want it.
My best house to date is right next door to the creeper. Decent storage near my bed, nice roomy basement with a skeleton to guard my most valuable treasures too! And close to the mages for transportation.
I heard that the strongholds are outside of town. I'm more an intown guy, don't care for the long commutes to work everyday. ;)

The strongholds for Redoran/Telvanni are a ways from town but Hlaalu's is pretty close to Hla Ord, which has a boat. I like the style of the Hlaalu but the Redoran has better storage. None of them is adequate for a collector. Try a plug in or make your own.
