Thanks for your help, but on my way to somewhere else i found my first redoran objective and now am quite stelling into it.
but explain what you mean with "james bond" style.
because the quests in house redoran are REALLY annoying: take this potion to that far away place, help this poor girl in the middle of nowhere with ALL of her problems, find out what happened to this guy a five day walk north of here.
and it looks as its always a place or city where the silt doesn't stop, so i have to inprovice by taking the silt to the closest location there.
if the Hlaalu quests are more fun i'm dropping Redoran.

1) You used the "New Thread" button instead of "Post Reply"; careful of that ;)
2) My 1st char was Hlaalu so its quests are a little fuzzy for me, but IIRC they're more like "find and kill the kwama queen of a rival Hlaalu" (kwama queens have no effective attacks, so it's not a true combat mission), "talk these people into only selling ebony through us" (with "or else wipe them out" implied), etc.
On a side note, Redoran quests have the fewest material rewards; Hlaalu and Telvanni quests give nice cash & eq rewards (and Telvanni also give spells).

Don't get me started on House Redoran... :mad: ;)
House Redoran send you on pointless and for the most part damn annoying quests which take you trekking over miles of dust blasted terrain fending of what seems to be the entire population of cliff racers for little to no reward.
I have to admit only did about 7 quests for House Redoran (+ the quests to get a second phase stronghold) but to be honest that was all I could take.
I feel special mention should be given to the guar lady who after risking life and limb trying to find her, sort out her problems with crabs and 'bandits', still felt the reward of a couple of 'had-no-effect-on-you-hac-lo-leaves' was sufficient thanks.
Suffice to say at level 10 i started over with a battlemage character and joined the Telvanni which as a faction is the best i've ever joined (quests and rewards).

alright, if Redoran keeps sending me on these pointless quests i'll join Hlaalu.
telvanni doesn't fit my character.
ibecause the redoran quests are so aaaarg!

Redoran gives the best faction bonuses(ppl like redoran members better than hlaalu and especially telvanni members).
Hlaalu gives the best cash rewards.
Telvanni gives the best spells and services. (their enchanters have the best scrolls, their spell selling ppl have the best spells, their smiths have better weapons...)
