(4th Trial Help)
Ok I'm confused...
I've spoken to all the councilors on this quest and each one pretty much tells me they need to speak to the other councilors before 'choosing a horator'. However, they've been doing this for some time now and I'm not sure how long I have to wait for them to make up their bloody minds. B. Venim or whatever still tells me he's not changed his mind.
I heard that he has to duel you in the arena...checked the practice room in Ald'ruhn and the Arena in Vivec and no sign of him moving there. He seems to want to stay in his manor and do nothing. I tried taunting him to the point where he attacked and I killed him but the other councilors branded me a murderer and would not name me Horator. How do I get this house to name me Horator from this point?
Any help would be greatly appreciated....

I haven'[t played the Redoran quests but I have the "official guide." Tell me who gave you the quest and I will tell you what the walkthrough says.
See Athyn Sarethi, in Sarethi manor, he ask you to rescue his son from somewhere close, once you've done that, talk to him again, and use duel, then talk to all the others, leaving Bolvyn Venim till last, he'll challenge you to a duel in vivic, once you kill him return to Athyn Sarethi, who will make you Horator.
Hi,
I'm having a problem with this too. No matter who I talk to in the house where this person is missing, everyone just says "it's none of your business". I've bribed the head guy so his disposition is at 100, but he still says that it's none of my business. How on earth do I rescue this kid??
ps. first post, wahey !

There is a guard (lady I believe) that is standing in an area that looks like it was made for sparing. If you're coming down the stairs, look to the right, you'll see a hanging rug that looks like it should be a hallway or door. Run in to that rug at full speed and you will see the light, young grasshopper, I mean Horator. :thumb: ;)

There's also a piece of paper on a bench with a key that refers to this in that area with the guard wearing dwelmer armor, minus a head piece, you just pinch it when she patrols out of view.

On a related note: Is it possible to rescue the kid without having to slaughter 4 guards as you leave?
