This is funny (well, I thought so)
Messenger is being closed down soon so this won't matter any more. I have just started using the browser version a bit recently. It's hell to manage, the way the options menu is set up, but I tried to get all the people I don't talk to much anymore off the list, just so I'm not constantly distracted by it. It picks up everyone you've emailed a few times though so that's hard sometimes.
Still, I was pretty sure I'd hidden from everyone I usually encountered, until today an old friend popped up. I haven't seen her in years and never on MSN, but all her details are in my contacts from back in the day, so I thought I'd chat and say hi.
Well, after a few lines it becomes obvious that this is some kind of sex chat bot. (which is particularly funny if you knew her).
You get friend requests and so on from porn channels etc all the time. That I understand.
But how the hell does a sex chat bot come to talk on my messenger account using an old friend's ident like that?
And, perhaps more importantly, Why? It's not selling anything (yet). Do these things just hunt around the net for fun or what?

Even sex chat bots get lonely.
And this may be a variation on that Cyberpunk 2077 trailer: perhaps your old friend had some implants done, and they're manifesting as a new side of her personality: Ms Sex Chat Bot.
I'm thinking of getting a Dr Sbaitso implant myself.

So... A hotmail account got hacked? Hardly surprising.
