I just finished Hotel Carone and was blown away by the amount of detail put into the title map. Comparing it to the other Deus Ex mods, I'd say that it wins by a longshot - at least, in terms of level design (story and writing are another issue, but most DX mods need work in those departments).
So now I'm inspired to take up learning how to put together quality maps. I downloaded the SDK, but read that Hotel Carone used a hacked version of the SDK that allowed compatibility with Unreal Ed 2, and thus - wider architectural possibilities. I want this. The wikipedia entry for the SDK ((
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deus_Ex_mods)) gives a link to this hacked version, but the site it was apparently hosted on now links to some lame GTA site.
So my question is: does anyone know where I could find this hacked SDK? Do any of you guys have it, and if so, would you be averse to giving me a copy? I'd be eternally grateful - and will give a present.

Really, you actually thought hotel carone had good mapping? What other mods have you played?
The GTA site used to be dxgaming, great site.

It might be worth repeating this question at the offtopicproductions forums.

Pardoner - Thanks for the tip. I will do that.
Jashin - I honestly did think it had good mapping - or, at least, the title map did. It gave me the feeling of playing a really good Thief map. Though Manderley's House was way too extravagant, and the warehouse level was totally unnecessary. And the park next to the warehouse was absolutely stupid.
I've played:
Zodiac, Double Cross, Burden 80 Proof, Cassandra, Break In, and part of Redsun 2020.
