(
http://workingtitlefilms.com/film.php?filmID=99) From the makers of Shaun of the Dead...
This movie looks utterly awesome. I was a huge fan of Shaun of the Dead, and I came out of the cinema physically sore from laughing so hard. This film looks like it's set to do what Shaun of the Dead did for zombie films, this time with action/buddy/cop movies. I'm seeing threads of Rambo and Lethal Weapon all over the place, and I'm sure these guys will litter the movie with loads of little references. Plus it's good to see Pegg and that other bloke together again, they were a cracking duo in Shaun.
Can't wait!

Hot Fuzz is going to be fire-breathing awesome, and I'm ashamed that no one has brought this up before.
ASHAMED.

Didn't know about this one.
Just replaced my "borrowed and not returned" copy of 'Shaun of the Dead' yesterday.
I am definitely getting in line for this one.
thanks, Scots.

Downloaded a trailer for this a couple weeks ago. It's like I'm already in line for my ticket.

Though hopefully less Kung Pow, more Shaun of the Dead... ;)

(
http://www.chud.com) CHUD's been following this for a while now, and they say it's quite awesome. (also Peter Jackson in one of the video production diaries on the Working Title site) Doesn't come out until April here in the States, but the guy who runs my local sort of independent theatre and does midnight movies how is "movies" not a word, Firefox? said that he's attempting to work out a deal to get a print a week early to do a sneak preview, which will be awesome if he manages to pull it off.

Guys. I'm not kidding when I say I was an extra in this film. In the play scene (whenever that happens), I'm sitting in the audience. It was quite a fun day, no pay of course, but we got to see Simon Pegg and Nick Frost as well as people like Timothy Dalton who were in the scene as well. And that bit was all done in my home town!
Yeah, it should be good, certainly the bits we saw were pretty funny.

That's very cool, Fingernail. Shame you couldn't do a guitar playing cameo! :D
