The server specs are:
* Dual Core 2.6GHz Opteron
* 4GB Registered DDR2 EEC RAM
* 2 x 500GB SATA II 7200 RPM hard drives
* Windows Server 2003 or 2008
* Shared 100 mbps line with unmetered traffic.
I have a client at work that has a server from this same provider and I was very pleased with the server's upload speed, especially on a shared line.
I have signed up on a 12 month contract at £119 + VAT a month + a £99 + VAT setup fee. Due to a special offer that we have been lucky enough to get, we will only pay for 9 months, instead of 12.
What Next?
I have started download everything from the current server. Once the new one has been set up I will upload and configure the sites one at a time to get them all working - starting with TTLG and the forums.
Once this has been done and everything is running smoothly, the current server will be turned off, but kept at the current location, should it be required.

I never doubted for a moment that this community would step up but even so, one can't help but feel slightly amazed at the speed of this generous outpouring of love for these forums.
