That thread title is a wasted opportunity for not using the Xzibit meme.

Um, not to sound unappreciative, I respect the fact that it's a serious undertaking these guys are signing up for, but
why? It's not like you can't make mod campaigns for STALKER as it is, does the Crysis platform really offer anything more to justify that sort of effort?
Any of our Russian-speaking fellow drones willing to do some cliffnotes?

You can break the fences!

A beta version of Stalker TC for Crysis 1 was released a few days ago.

I'm surprised that this mod is still going, TBH.

So am I. I guess large modding community of SoC combined with ease-of-use of CryEngine have a synergy or something.
Love the comment in the video "I like X-Ray better". Stupid fuck, even though they actually made anomalies that aren't just 3D pitfalls and affect grenades and even rain.
EvaUnit02 on 10/1/2012 at 07:25
I like how it's a Dark Mod-esque project, where they're creating a mission builder's framework. I wonder if they'll port it to the CryEngine 3 stand-alone SDK down the road?
I'm very impressed that they've implemented anomalies.

Looks good, but oh man, that viewbob. That queasy movement I can barely describe but know so well from the sudden motion sickness attacks it brings on for poor susceptible souls!
Is that just me...?

Maybe they wanted to stay true to the original, hur.
