It's a link to a youtube page containing the pilot for the animated Discworld stories. It is quite different to the representations of Soul Music and Wyrd Sisters that were shown on TV and VHS, and recently DVD.

I'm a bit annoyed that Terry Pratchett isn't--as far as I can see--releasing an actual Discworld novel this year. I'm sure his children books are great, though I haven't read any of them except Maurice and His Educated Rodents (one fantastic book.) Still, they just aren't the same.
I was also hoping for an actual movie, not another television series. We'll probably have to wait a year or more to get the Hogfather miniseries on DVD in the States.
It's times like this I wish I was still living in England :erg:

One hopes he hasn't jumped on the Harry Potter bandwagon, what with the children's books being about a witch. I've read the first one and it's good, just aimed more at pre-teens and not really on par with the typical Discworld stuff.
