Hi all,
I'm playing on poor and I am in the cemetary. I[SPOILER] am at the north east corner, but I don't know how to get rid of the zombies. I tried with ice bombs and holy water[/SPOILER], but there's always a zombie reaching out for me and so I always get killed. :eek:
Any useful tip? Don't have any invisibility potion.

There is no magic way of getting out I'm afraid - just creeping and sneaking and/or dashing. Lurk a bit and see what goes on.

You need to get a key from one of the zombies to open the gate, so either grab a key and dash, or creep to the gate, snagging a key on the way. I usually sneak, grab then dash.

thanks ffox, I just made it grabbing the key and running like hell.......:cheeky:
Now I'm stuck in another place, it seems that I cannot jump on the cable trolley.
Tried all sorts of things, but the trolley seems made of air, ans I always fall to the ground..................:weird:

Here's one I can't figure out... I'm playing on poor, I have the water key

Alas; I am STILL unable to play this one because it STILL crashes to desktop every time I try to load it. I've tried re-downloading it about three times, to no avail. Helpful advice anyone?

When exactly does it crash to desktop?

It crashes after I get to the objectives screen (for the first time) and then click on 'Start' so I can begin playing the actual FM; the screen goes black and then zap! I'm back to my desktop. No warnings or anything.

I know there's a 'Note' in the FM description that warns that this FM should be played on a fresh boot, but even that doesn't work for me (and I've tried rebooting and restarting the FM about five times). It still ends up crashing at the same place every time (the objectives screen when I hit 'Start').

Do you have the VP3 codec installed? It's required to watch the intro movie at the start of the mission, so that could be the problem. The program can be found in the zip file.
Else try reinstalling all (http://www.thiefmissions.com/scripts/) custom scripts, as well as the Standard Thief Scripts (convict.osm and gen.osm) available (http://www.thiefmissions.com/darkloader/) here.

Can't think of anything else.
I hope you can get it to work, you miss a great mission
