I played version 1.01 and I found the Waterkey, as you said, in[SPOILER]the wine room![/SPOILER]
Now I have found three of four elemental keys: water, fire and wind. But it is strange that the find the fire, earth and wind elemental keys objectives were allready completed acording to the objective list, before I found the water and fire keys :p I hope this bug is changed in`1.03
The only objective I have now left is finding at least 6 secrets. But this is also strange because I remember I allready found 6 secrets :sweat: Is it possible that somehow this objective turned to incomplete again :confused:
Now the only key I need is the Earth key..

Have you been to the [SPOILER]spider cave yet? When you first come into the wooded area (right after the water door) on your left is a tunnel. Be careful there be spiders in there. Eeeeeeeeeeeeeee. The white spider is carries the earth key. You use it on the spider on the wall. After that a doorway opens and you find your jewel, but be prepared grab it and run (another tunnel will open up behind you) Run and take a hard left in the bushy area and you will find the monk area. Thats where you will use the fire key (and a secret). I hope you have your sword or axe cuz you will need it to get the secret.[/SPOILER]

With 312 posts on this game...and many not accurate with the changes made over time on this game, i am risking asking a question that i know someone will want to say "read the posts" to....well, i have, and searched, but found in my limited ability the answer "look better"
well, i could use a more definite response than that to where i find the [SPOILER]2nd key in the wooden house. i have looked all over, found the secret and the red key, and understand the 2nd one is supposed to be in the same room, but to no avail[/SPOILER]
i am playing on easy....(cuz i gotta be able to use my black jack) :cheeky:

i choosed to create a new version ...is the 1.03
b, this version is just uploaded by two days on my site and now also on the circle.
Why this new version ? only to fix
1 thing:
if you are playing on level
ghost there will no problem at all.... you can complete all the objectives. just from the version 1.02.
if you are playing on
snake or
poor level you can't check off the objective [SPOILER]of the fire key[/SPOILER] since you will download the latest version.
i've thought about a solution for that: a patch - it's the gamesys adjourned to replace the one you have in the thief2 folder.
I don't know if it can works without problems, but it's better this than nothing.
so download that file (1.7mb) and put it in the thief 2 folder - click to replace when it's asked.(
http://sterlino.altervista.org/patcher.htm) patch from version 1.03 to version 1.03b - this would fix the bug of the objective that not check off easily

The Circle link doesn't seem to work, and it's unavailable from the author site and Thiefmissions. Where is one supposed to get this mission (or has it been pulled)?

no... for me it's all ok... go in to my site ....flash version would be better... i'm just resetting some details of view in the html pages.
Yeah at the Circle the file is temp. unavailable -.... the reason must be the new file info and the title to update... it was yet the old 0.95b version file info.

Where is the key to the door down by the river at the beginning? I believe I have to rope up somewhere, but don't know where. I always end up climbing back up.

When you first start out you are by a tree (if you go right go to the woods left to the store ) go towrards the store and there there is a place right next to the waterfall there is the place.
