Oh I'm so glad I haven't dowloaded and started playing this fm yet because it's now removed from Thiefmissions on your order so I gues the fm still has a major problem. Well I really hope you can get it fixed so good luck Sterlino!!

the mission was removed cause a lack of resource in bandwich....
in few words: i don't wanna steal more bandwich to Epithumia cause my mission it is too high in requests !
So i'm looking for a personal host, don't know when i will get it but if you go to my site the mission is just still downloadable !
All the bugs are fixed just from many days, there was only a couple of corrects errors just
done. the
version 1.03 is confirmed as the last for
at least the next
6 months... (then may be ....who can knows...)

Thanks, Maloo; I found the slot for the Air key under the Burrick shed; and believe me, it was a pain trying to get that shed open without being detected by the bug-spitting Burricks!
I smashed the floorboards and used the Air key. It created a light above the keyhole. When I opened the shed door, I saw a weird being I can only describe as a Craywoman; she spawned already alert and searching. I waited until she calmed down, then I snuck out of the shed and into her area. She is standing with her back to the egress that leads back to the waterfall area. I tried killing her, just to see what would happen: when she died, she left her claws behind (like a bizarre variant on the Cheshire Cat from Alice In Wonderland) and a glowing will o'the wisp, which lit me up such that some nearby dinosaurs saw me and smushed me. I reloaded from before killing her; she's still alive right now.
So now I've used all four elemental keys; yet the objective to "reveal the secret of the four magic elements" did not check off. Similarly, I still have no idea how to "destroy [the Hell portal] at any cost!" I've seen no readable that mentions how one goes about destroying a Hell portal. And I'm still hovering at 1600 loot; which means after hours of gameplay and being all over the place, the only objective that I have checked off is to "go to the shop and buy something." Yeesh.
I don't seem to be getting anywhere; and once again I'm totally stumped. I can't think of anywhere I haven't tried. I don't have any more keys, and the only door-key combination I haven't tried is that door I mentioned above with one more key I got somewhere a while back (probably from the mine barracks next to the Hell portal room).
This is very frustrating. I wish I had some idea what I was doing, instead of just taffing around. Sterlino, I think you need some more readables!

Okay here goes
When you were in the little building with the offices, there is a room there a book depository, you get the key up the two ladders out the hatch and it is on the table where the guard is standing. That key will open the door so you can read the book. That should tick off the objective.
If you have anymore questions just ask.

I opened the sea chest; it contained a diamond, an axe, and a scroll.
The scroll has three "words" that look like anagrams, followed by a garbled sentence in no particular language (seemingly having components in French, pseudo-Greek, pseudo-Latin or Spanish, and a Spanish article). The scroll reads:
NumKral - Ropen - Ukmirt
Los Mortos esto agora livres
I can sorta kinda vaguely translate the sentence as "the dead are an open book," whatever that means. I wonder if it's related to the Hell portal?
For the other words, if they're anagrams, I can't make heads or tails out of them. For ropen, the only word I can make is prone. I have less luck with the other two: numkral can be lurkman; ukmirt can be I'm Kurt or I'm Turk.
Has anybody solved this? Does even Sterlino know what it means? :ebil:
after reading what you wrote right here i was thinking about it..... and the result is only
joy for me to know that what i want from the start of this experiment was realized !!
What i want it was that the things were near as much as possible to the reality... it was an ambicious purposal and in some cases i can't achive the right result (the AI for example) and sometimes the reality is just frustrating... in the real world you cannot find any "readable" until you go and find them by a your decision, cause you know where to find them...
I think the game is yeah... a little frustrating ? but
fantastic... when you will find what you missed you will be very happy to reach the right way to finish the game.
search for a 'books storage'
When you have the scroll from the sea chest
Take it to the cemetary and read it. I hope you have the little white key, when you read it it will open a grave which holds the object that will help you get rid of the hell gate.
:thumb:

sterlino, I can upload your FM to The Circle's host if you would like it hosted there. Just give me the word and I'll have it posted.
"Take it to the cemetary and read it. I hope you have the little white key, when you read it it will open a grave which holds the object that will help you get rid of the hell gate."
When I first got the scroll, I read it... and it promptly vanished from my inventory. Should I reload from before then? (It's more than a little annoying, because there is no way to guess it's going to do that until it does it.) I have no idea if I have the little white key. I have fifteen keys. Where should I find this particular key?
Also, I don't really understand Maloo's instructions about finding the book depository:
"When you were in the little building with the offices, there is a room there a book depository, you get the key up the two ladders out the hatch and it is on the table where the guard is standing. That key will open the door so you can read the book. That should tick off the objective."
Which little building with the offices? There were several, weren't there?
I'll go hunting, but since I'll probably fail to find it, could somebody make it a little clearer, please?
Thanks,
Dafydd

I think this is really great for a first mission, however the number of keys is driving me crazy.
One door was locked and none of the keys would work. I quicksaved and then threw the explosive device at it (getting ready to blow it open) and the sheer force of the explosive hitting the door opened it. :laff:
I'm stuck in a room with water. I can't seem to navigate through it without running out of air.
I think it is the one that the n*120b key opens.
