I am stuck where there is a blue force field and a metal door. where you are suppose to use the water key(i have the key)
It looks like the square in the wall where the water key used to be located by (in previous versions) is missing the lock device all together. because there isn't a lock there to activate :confused:
It is very strange....maybe a corrupt download or something. :weird:
anybody else see this with version 1.03?

sterlino i am proud to report that version 1.03 works like a charm :)
i finally beat this mission

Difficulty : Poor

Time: 2 hours 11 mins and 43 secs
things i especially liked about this mission :
the horse at the saloon, never been done before! and i love horses
the moutain scene used as the sky
ICE BOMBS ROCK!
the logs/stumps look real and great use as a little lighting :)
the nice picturesque scenery all over the map
the tricksters note :laff:
the nice uniforms the guards have
the "squishy" sound that comes from walking on the green mud
the in-game shop and the dart board
and did anyone try to kill the woodnymph/sprite/fairy? :eek:
Sterlino, i know you probably prefer the way you set the difficulty levels but a lot of taffers LOVE our blackjack and hate playing on lowest difficulty just because of it, so please feel free to set "hard" to unlimited blackjacking :cheeky:

I've done a bunch of stuff, but I don't know where to go next. Any thoughts? I'm playing on Ghost, if that makes a difference.
Here's what I've done so far:
[spoiler]I got the water key, used it and went into that area. I got the key from the Blue Meanie, then went into the area behind the dragonfly-bugbeast.
From there, I ran across some quicksand and some lava, got the Fire and Air keys, and climbed up next to the 3rd Alp Inn. I wandered around a bit in that area, eventually getting into the sewers and doing some swimming. I found a well-lit gate guarded by cannon; I opened the gate, climbed around some more, and ended up on the other side. I wandered thorough some buildings, rode on a mine cart to another section of the mine, did stuff, then returned.
I swam back, then went to the part of the mine where there's a slot for the Fire key. I used it and opened the Hell portal, getting a new objective to destroy it.
Now I'm back in the area near the fairy and the bridge (now impassable). I know there's a spider tunnel nearby, but it leads to a lock for which I have no key (the Earth key, maybe?)
I have fourteen keys and a pair of lockpicks, and there are still doors I can't open.[/spoiler]
I'm pretty well stumped. What am I supposed to do now? Where is the Earth key? How do you destroy the portal?

[spoiler]I did some more reading; Lady Jo said that the Earth key was on a spider. Yeesh, I probably didn't inspect the spiders closely enough... but I wasn't able to get out of the spider area after killing them anyway (I reloaded from before that point). Also, somebody said something about blowing away the rocks in the mine... I assume that means the ones along the hand-cart route? I have an explosive device and a detonation arrow; I guess that would do it. I read there was loot but nothing else there.[/spoiler]
But still, the main stuff awaits. What should I do next?

[SPOILER]youll get a lot of loot but there's also a drop down back into the spider caves, plant a rope arrown and shoot some moss arrows below the hole, and if you are gonna blow up the rocks, place the sunburst device as close to rocks as you can and then get on the handcart, ready your detonation arrow and frob the handcart to move it, knock the arrow just b4 you get to the device[/SPOILER]

yeah, many people told me this after the version 0.95b. The Error was to setting up this thing as
'MUST'. It would be as
'OPTIONAL'.... ;)

Thanks to some helpful advice here, I knocked off the Earth key stuff, along with the loot behind the rocks in the mine.
But I'm still stuck with this Air key and nowhere to put it. It's the last key I need to use. I went down a tunnel to the right of the fairy, and I found a pool with some sort of slot for something in it (looks like); but the Air key didn't fit there, and I have no idea what does.
I have 1300 loot; I spent more than 500 in the store, so I reckon I don't get credit for that loot... I have to have 1800 in my possession. But if I do and that checks off that objective, and I subsequently spend it down below 1800, does it uncheck the objective?
Anyway, I keep reading about chests and wands and suchlike that I haven't found. I now have 15 keys and still can't get into some doors! I think there must be a whole bunch more of this mission than I've seen so far.
Somebody said something about the burrick stables, something about something in the floor. And there's also a room, maybe a stairway, that I can't open: it's near where you exit the tunnel past the Tower (at the base of the Tower is a manhole you come up from the sewer), where the windmill is... at the end of that street is a guard who patrols through the room where you find the Oxydized key and down some stairs. When he comes back, he heads towards a gate -- and right next to that gate is a door, behind which is another door; it's this second door I haven't been able to open. Is there something important behind that?

I can't even get past the water key riddle (playing on poor)
The key slot is appears to be nothing but a hollow alcove in the wall next to the water force field. :wot:
WHats the deal here?

Almost completed the mission but I still have a few questions:
1: How do I open the two iron doors in the boiling room of the guard building?
2: what doors do the red key (found under broken chair in wooden house) and the grey pump 5 key open??? I cannot find any more keys but and I've tried all the keys on the remaining locked doors
3: I've heard about a secret room behind the shop where a crowbar ishidden. How do I open the door in the shop? And can you use the crowbar to open locked doors? (If so, problem nr 1 and 2 are solved)
4: And last, but not least, where can I find the water elemental key? I searched the entire mission but I just cant find it :nono: . No problem with the other elemental keys but it seems this one is very well hidden
