Hello everyone! i am new to Morrowind and i have a few questions about my new stronghold. I just got the first part built and I was checking it out.
First, can I put things in the chests, closets, sacks, etc. without having to worry about them disappearing? i have read on this site about replenishing chests and was wondering if any of that applied to the ones in my stronghold?
Second, can I change the name of my stronghold to my characters name? I kinda wanted to personalize it and not have it called Rethan Manor.
Thanks in advance for your help and I wanted to say this is a very informative forum.

Yes, yes you can.
No, no you can't.

Do I get a key to the locked small chests in the house at any point? I've been putting lockpicking off just to see if te fella at Balmora would hand me a key at some point (ATM the finishing touches are being build according to him).

Nope, no key :p
Btw, I wouldn't advise putting your stuff into any container that had stuff in it before you, regardless of if it's at your stronghold.

Thanks for that Anarkos.
I've recently discovered I've been breaking one of Vivec's Graces - I've been hoarding high-value and unique objects in a couple of the mage guilds.
I was wondering if a "repop" would blow it all away.
Is Rothan Manor unqiue in the "non-repop" regard, or is it the same for every map?
TIA

Forsythe - I've been storing things in my manor for a long, long time now, using every chest and container with no problems. The developers, naturally enough, seem to have made your mansion safe for storage.
Nerdsrkull - Not sure. I stored my stuff if a Vivec blacksmith's for a while with no losses. Most of the equipment-eating chests seem to be in dungeons and "minor" locations; random houses etc.
