okay, two things for the me.
1) The guy in the hlaalu manor in balmora said that I need to have a land deed. Well, I went and got it. Now What? He doesn't say anything after I get it. The land deed says I now own rotheran(?) manor south of balmora. Is this an actual quest? because I just did this, it wasn't "bussiness.'
2) I am doing the hlaalu quests for the person in balmora. This one involves going to inisol (can't remember the exact name, but those who have done this will know what I'm talking about). Anyway, it's an eggmine east of suran where you have to kill the queen. Well, I got to the eggmine, and guess what! No queen! It's not a terribly complex eggmine and I'm sure I've been all the way through it. Does anyone know what is wrong?
Any help would be great.

Try taking the deed to the guy in the Balmora House Hlaalu who should be guiding you through the process of setting up your own stronghold. He's the guy by the stairs.
As for the second, it's be a while since I played so I don't recall cave/mine layouts. I'm guessing that if you are at the right mine, you might have missed something - otherwise you might be at the wrong mine. I'll try to look this up this weekend.

Check the map for potential side passages. Mines can be tricky sometimes and I tend to walk right by entrances. If you still can find anything then, try buying a few Potions of Light (it'll light up the cave for you.) And make it easier to see. Like Bad_Demographic, I don't remember this either though I did finish it.

Isn't the mine quest the one where
you can go see the mine's owner and he'll basically bribe you to leave the queen alone?
If you decide to do that
(like I did, cos I felt sorry for the queen), there are no bad repercussions, although the quest registers as uncompleted in the post-Tribunal journal.
I believe there is a tunnel underwater in that cave mine so try looking underwater :p

about the land deed, the guy by the stairs is the one I'm talking about. though I think I might have rushed ahead before I was supposed to talk to him.
In the egg mine, I look at the map and I've been throughout the whole mine. I do have nighteye, so I could see very well. I tried looking underwater but didn't find anything. I'll look again, but thanks!

Oh, oh!
I just remembered that I didn't kill the queen. For some reason, I talked to Oran (the House Hlaalu guy in Suran.
As for the deed:
I'm pretty sure there are several land deed in the game. Is the one you have for Odai Plateau? I think that's the land deed you'll want when you start the stronghold quest. Offhand though, I can't remember what the other deeds are for. Some are for quests. Read the deed to see what it's for.

That particular cave: Look under the water. There is a missed tunnel that is accessable under the water.

The answer is quite simple, since I became grandmaster of hlaalu.
Do not kill the queen! You have to cure her of blights disease, so create a spell of cure blight on other. If there is water in the mine you are in the wrong mine. (hopefully I am talking about the right quest). The right mine starts with an "S" and i directly north east from your manor. Their should be a large shulk in front of it. Anyway, I wish you luck and hope that I havn't mislead you, it is really cool when you finish building your whole manor.

if memory serves, if you talk to the owner of the mine in question take his money, then kill the queen anyway, whats-her-face who gave you the quest says she likes your style and gives got a generous tip on top of the 1000 that whats_his_name gave you
[damn, I'm really bad with names :p ]
