I referred more to the red haired cutie on picture #3.
These stupid neo nazi youngsters seem doing it just for the value of excentrism and shock, yet they lack some decent history lessons.
Like Prince Harry, yes.

I remember a shop in Seoul called "Hilter Fashion" ... like an Urban Outfitters for this kind of stuff, with the prize piece being a silver, 1936-looking Nazi car with the little flags, admittedly a sweet looking car.
Of course, swastikas (square direction, not diamond) are all over the city and it is by far the most common necklace pendant (in my experience, although for older people) because its the symbol of Buddhism. Now that all the temples have to compete with OTT churches, the city-scape is filled with spires of red neon swastikas covering the city in between all the red neon crosses. I get the feeling they think that Nazi pariphenalia just blends into the mix: "What's the big deal?"
Most of my Japanese friends had about the same attitude whenever I talked to them about it. Nothing that sinister about it, aside of course from a gross disregard for world and their own history.

Completely and utterly seconded.
Well I suppose I'll post when I have the time and inclination. But lurking isn't exactly the right term - I do tend to post when I actually have a look at ttlg, but I just don't get around to doing that much these days. Partly because a lot of the posts aren't interesting enough to make me want to but mostly because I'm far too busy at uni. I've only logged on a couple of times this term as my time has been taken up with revising/socialising/punting/tennis. In other words, ttlg is designed for winter ;)

They are different people, aren't they? That's a rather insensitive attitude, but it most likely reflects the younger, more marketable population.

The first Nazi girl picture is a promo for Wolfenstein and therefore probably not Japan. By looks alone they could be Japanese though (amateur physical anthropology isnt cool). In general the Koreans seem to take WW2 more seriously than the Japanese so I`m surprised to learn about Korean nazi fetish. The Japanese are pretty clueless though, they just think they`re being cool. It annoys me when people suggest that they confuse the Nazi and Buddhist swastikas though, because the two are quite distinct. It is really just an ignorance of what Nazism was and is. Same way as all my 8 year old students wear Playboy bunny T-shirts.
I think Hitler`s paintings are quite good. He had skill though little imagination. I dont see why he must be compared to real masters.
I`d like to ask, how should I view Hitler`s vegetarianism, animal rights beliefs and abstinence from alcohol as uniformly negative?
And, as I share those traits, is it my destiny to become the next `most evil ever`? Exploiting anti-semitism worked for Adolf, maybe I`ll try...anti-chav. Could work.

Well, he was vegitarian not so much because he cared about animals, but because he didn't want the "filthy fuckers" going into his pure body; same with alcohol. It's all of a piece with his radical racial aestheticism and rabid phobia for anything smacking of biological impurity ... pigs, gays, Jews, booze, etc., get them all away from polluting German bodies.
