One of those days…
Friday June 9th my number was called to hit the stress jackpot. Within 12 hours my dog was diagnosed with cancer and my fiancé had a serious heart attack. I can honestly say that this was the worst day of my life. I do not want to play this kind of lottery anymore. Hell, I don’t remember buying a ticket.
Thankfully, due to modern medicine both are doing very well and fully recover. But I did have to miss several world Cup games.

Trust me; that kind of lottery is one for which nobody ever remembers buying a ticket. It could have been worse - a
whole lot worse. You are exceedingly lucky that your beloved fiancee and beloved dog are doing well and I am sincerely glad to hear this.
As for the games you missed, I hope at least your favorite team won. ;)

Your Dog and your Fiancee were close to deaths door and you are not happy because you missed a few games of soccer !!!!!! A message for your Fiancee ... LEAVE NOW and take the DOG

Thank god they're both ok! Count your lucky stars, and when your fiancé(e?) gets out then celebrate with a bottle of wine and a fancy meal is what I say. Nothing too artery-clogging though ;)

I got pregnant with my first-born after eating that dish at a restaurant. I never asked for the recipe; go figure. ;)
I never ate at that restaurant again either.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.
Both, husband and dog are doing fine. Angioplasty is a wonderful thing!
Henke - if that sauce is cheesy, go see the doc.
