The (

In other developments, Fox News is still a pus-filled boil on the arsehole of world journalism :nono:
Really though, it was the Hilary camp that did all the work and just presented it on a silver platter to Fox News (and perhaps others?).

I enjoyed that, BA. :D

The Democrats I know seem to loathe Hillary and like Obama.
Yeah, this is one really fucked up thing about this race. I think it's common knowledge that she's by far the more electable candidate in a general election, but she's just downright hated by establishment Dems for being too ready to compromise, while everyone from the center-right rightwards probably never wants to forgive her for being the grabby, over-liberal bitch from the Clinton years.
And STILL, she's still looks better than McCain ... contra BEAR and a good number of pundits, I know; this is my opinion, but he comes across as someone who seems to have already had his chance and blew it. If he wasn't that impressive before, I don't know why he should be now.
(And I don't really see how Guilliani gets off the ground, having only been a city mayor. It just doesn't sound presidential enough material, 9/11 or no.)
Aerothorn on 23/1/2007 at 12:21
Frankly, I don't think Giulliani (if he has ANY brains) will run. The exploratory committee notes that were leaked outlined the numerous reasons he'd have a very difficult time getting elected.
Is there ANYBODY who doesn't suck? I mean, this country has 300 million + people - there has to be SOMEBODY the strong majority of the population can get behind while feeling good about it.

If the article to which you linked is to be believed, his actions in the Win Ho Lee affair are somewhere between incompetent and deplorable.
As an aside, the fact that he owned a gambling business would probably hurt his candidacy. You can bet THAT would show up in an attack ad near you.

Why do people think this?
She has significant opposition that has built up over the years, whereas Obama is just so handsome! He's far more handsome than any of the potential Republican candidates. After all - that is what's really important.
BEAR on 23/1/2007 at 18:13
There are two types of people, those who love Hillary and those who hate her fucking guts.
I personally dont know a single republican that would EVER vote for her no matter what her stance.
Personally, I think she would probably do a good job, or at least a competant job. Doesnt matter though, as she'll never EVER be president.
