LOL, so he had a muslim upbringing. Freedom and equality is ok if you're black candidate, it's ok if you're a woman candidate, but being of a different religion? Lord no.

.. our main problem in the US, as the DOL sees it, is that we're losing and need to teach "the ability to think critically".
I agree with that statement wholeheartedly.

This is your attempt at humour, yes? Because as we all know, the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment deals with this bit, and fundamentally establishes the United States as a secular nation.

Hay guise im trying to think critically but im having problems with my math homework, how am i suposed to count past 20 if im not alowed to take off my shoes?

Actually, no, it doesn't. If you read the first amendment, it specifically states that Congress will not pass laws regarding religion or the free exercise of it. There is nothing that specifically states that the United States is a secular nation, nor does it say anything about "separation of church and state".

Thomas Jefferson and the Supreme Court disagree with you. No prizes for guessing whose side I'm taking :)

Too bad the Constitution doesn't contradict what I'm saying. :p

That doesn't stop you from being wrong though, semantic loophole or not.
