With October coming up soon, I'm starting to renew my love of all things spooky. Such as the cradle of T3, and starting to play murder mystery/ ghost adventure games, etc. Hidden messages in music is another thing I take an interest. For instance, I was listening to "Vicarious" by Tool, off of their myspace site, and noticed a very faint sound of a man's voice in the background 5 minutes in. Does anyone know what their saying? Anybody know of any other spooky things that they've noticed in their everyday stuff? There was also a site once that had the "stairway to heaven" song and its riff in flash, and then listed the translation under it. I would love to listen to that again, since it would be good for getting me into the right frame of mind for the up-coming season.
PS: I'm looking for spooky(quite whispers, dark shadows), not shocking/scary stuff.(as in the animation where you look closely at a picture then it screams at you). I'm curious as to what this forum will come up with.
Edit: I suppose I should just let this thread fade into obscurity, since it is so off topic. I may try again as we get nearer to Halloween, and more people feel like participating.

The song is about the media treatment of tragic events, and I reckon the whipsering is just supposed to be a whole lot of news reporters. Great song, though.

I'm pretty sure that's Maynard whispering, "Worship the devil. C'mon you know you want to. Worship the devil."

The way the guy dances on-stage it wouldn't suprise me if he was in cahoots with old Beezlebub.

It does kind of sound like a reporter, i can't make out the exact words though. Any other spooky stuff out their? anything really would work, sound files, flash, websites with secret subliminal things(I think there was a DX one a while back), spooky adventure games, or decent ghostly stories with unique twists. And no, that bald guy doesn't count.

The jury is still out on this thread in particular but as the dark dusk of October bears down on us I fully support all manner of eerie internet enterprises.

I think one of the best hidden things in a song is that face in the audio visualization of Aphex Twin's windowlicker.

What? Expand plz. Phex fan here.
There are soooo many "hidden" messages in lyrics that it's become a little passe, no? Unless you are talking about oooooldskool tracks because of course then it was all fresssh.
