Hey,
I've never took the time to see. But if anyone here knows what music is and likes R&B check out my entertainment myspace. Besides designing I love music at an all time high so I'm grabbing my title as producer. I'm working with a lot of people and exploring different areas. My new R&B artist is going to combine lite versions of Rock in his music. It should be a good experience most def.He needs a little bit of work but my other artists are doing well. My web designer is currently away and is suppose to be redoing the page and our real website. So if anyone is interested and likes it just drop a line! We have a lot that we are still doing. I'm always so busy with it! Look out for East Star E.N.T!

1) Oh please please please get a text/background colour combination that doesn't give me blurred vision trying to focus on it.
2) It sounds alright but I don't really know what I'm talking about when it comes to R&B, so for all I know it could be pretty derivative, but it's nonetheless competant. What exactly was your role in producing it/how active were you in those tracks? Are you basically refining the ideas these guys already have, or is there a bit more of a heavy hand? I mean, it's not the kind of music I'd sit down and listen to for it's own sake, but then I don't imagine many people do that anyway. I'm gonna guess the problem you and anyone else in the business will have is making your stuff stand out from the crowd.
3) I listened to yours, listen to mine: (

Hey,
Yes everytime I get the chance to log in to change that myspace. I never get on the color so thats why I have a web designer taking care of all my javascript/html issues lol.
Basically I did all the instrumentals. I've did a rap on most of all those tracks and any singing is done by me. (On Tight Rope, Imma Stick With Her,) I was on "She's Unbelievable" I just doubled the vocal of the R&B singers. I'm the lower toned but medium vocal guy. I go by the name of Spade so I usually say "S.P.A.D.E" in my verses. Anyway I arrange the track and do all the insrumentals. I also do all the business when it comes to our shows, money, etc. R&B gets bragged on soooo much. Just like Rap...and I guess many (Excuse my language) Bullshit rappers really blew it for a lot of upcoming artists. Everyone say Rap is just like R&b and I sit there and I'm like.."What the hell?" R&b has always had the slow end of the back beats. The...nice smooth chords, rhythms, the atmospheric pads and everything. At least thats what my R&B consists of. Rap today is....bullshit compared to back then. Which is why I come to help redefine. I don't know if anyone knows Kayne West. Thats one guy who knows what he is doing. At least he isn't talking about assess 24/7. People are not doing music for the heart and passion anymore. They are doing it for the...deceiving trickery of the dollar bill. I mean sure money is great...but it doesn't do just when you want to catch the emotion of someone. God.. I could go on and on like I just have lol..it's just crazy. I have tons of recordings but it just sucks that Myspace doesn't let you upload anymore then 4 or 5 songs.
Your projects are pretty reasonable. I've just started to really listen to different styles of music. What category do you fall under? I've been listening to ..Ska and different genres that aren't really common.

Hah, we made a second myspace for some songs we played acoustic on a student radio station.
Well, we're a rock band I suppose. So some sort of Alternative/Rock/Pop mash-up; we just call it "Splice" and pretend that means something. And, more often than not, people think it does mean something.

I know you may crave the greater attention that your own thread provides, but Beauty Man literally just posted a thread with some of his own music, which I promptly hijacked with my own, and it just seems to me like you could've jumped on that bandwagon rather than make your own thread, because now what will probably happen is we'll have two fairly sparse threads floating around sporadically instead of one slightly meatier "here's my music" thread, even though that wasn't exactly what Beauty Man posted originally.

aHa,
Thats great yea "Splice" isn't a band name you hear often lol. I have...well I don't have a main group because I work with numerous. I have rock players...to R&b players to sax players. I'm going to get my business degree so I can run this company. Taking it to great heights I suppose.
