Well I found the furry sword, and stuck it in my sack(bad move ) it accedentally came up in my rotation during a fight(side note a mod that would allow you to load say 3 magics and 3 weapons and only these would show up in rotation during a fight ,would be a great mod I believe) and you guesed it there went my armour rating.
I found a post that deals with how train back up quickly only thing is it lists the wrong person for medium armour training.I found the dudes I usually use and used them up (lol) now I need to know who trains for the highest level for medium armour.
This little escapade has cost me the whole of sunday afternoon just to get back to square one. Also in the post it was talking about the this being a bug in the Xbox version is it a bug, or is it part of the game in the pc version?
According to the sword's stats it looks like a bug.
Hey Bethseda have you ever heard of the term Beta testing?
Forsythe on 29/7/2002 at 01:28
Nah, it's undeniably a bug (that, or whoever wrote it was a sadist with no sense of game balance). Regardless, it's fixed in the latest patch (including a way to fix yourself if you've used it)
Of course, that doesn't do you any good as (as far as I can tell) you're on an XBox :p

Well it seams like I would be an idiot to not load the patch so you are thinking Im on a box,but that is not the case.
This whole affair of mine with this game came about as a bet.A friend of mine has been whooping about this game for a almost a year and I said it will be just like all the other RPG with the same probs they all have.So I bet him three things would kill this game before I ever even looked at the box it came in.Two have come true only one more to go and I win the money.
However if I load the patch, that would nullify the bet, it was made based on the original released version. Now dont get me wrong I didnt come in here with a bad attitude just a slightly biased one.;)
In defence of the game developers the graphic level of the game is incredible, but and here comes the dogma(Graphics cant carry a game)
Anyways I ramble on and its late just wanted to let you know why Im putting up with so much when the patch is setting right here (lol)
Cheers buddy! have a good week.:thumb:

ah.. weapon rotation...
ur on an xbox so this does you no good...
on the pc u can 'bind' items to the numerical keys...
i have two swords a bow and a lock and probe bound to keys 1-5...
makes it easier to switch to the items i use the most instead of having to rotate
through them...

Thrangar: *laugh* That was a sucker's bet... anyone with half a mind for it can break the unpatched version of 99% of modern games so many ways that they beg for mercy ;) Good luck, but do patch and play again; you'll like it even better ;)
wun: Actually, he said he's on a PC but he's made a wager based on the unpatched version; your point re: using quick keys is a good one, but if he's out to make the game fail... ;)

yes thats true and part of why I took the bet,IN past years it been the practice of publishers brow beating the software company into early releases and half finished games .Then having the soft ware company scramble to save there ass with patches.Beleive me I feel for them and for us look what we have to put up with. I fear that its only going to get worse.

Opps I totaly forgot about that aspect and I even had it set up once. me brain is going bad I think:eek: Also while Im remembering,I had the oddest thing happen to me. I drew my sword and my dude held out his hand but there was nothing in it!ever happen to you?
Forsythe! I feel I have slipped to your bad side:( I havent tried or done any thing to
make the game fail. and it hasnt failed or will I consider it a failure if I prove my point .That being basically what you said at the top of your post about most games.(your right it was a suckers bet.I just wanted to prove a point.(thats all:angel: )
and for what its worth I havent posted one time in the Morrowind Nitpickers' Guild post.

http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=596362#post596362) being an ass (ie: donkey, not derriere)... but then I'll respond to them as if nothing ever happened in a later post if they don't do the same thing.
