What's a good *free* program to convert video files of different formats so I can view them on the PS3 and iPad? I've got reasonably okay separate converters for the two devices, but it'd be great to have a one-stop shop that does these things well - and ideally converts into a format that I can use with both devices. (I've heard good things about Handbrake.)

I use virtualdub for pretty much everything. (
