I am having a tad bit of trouble with the Zainab, I try to get their moron leader to allow me to be the Zainab Nerevarine but he only lets me ask him about the Nerevarine Prophecies, im very confused. I don't remember what I did in the last game I played(which I almost beat. If only Dagoth Ur hadn't taken a suicide dive into the lava pit...) and have tried every trick in every strat I have seen on the net. I should also mention that the only contact to the tribe prior to this meeting was asking there trader about Ebony trade.

I just did this quest again last night, and I too had a small problem with the ashkan. Have you asked the wise woman about her "counsel"? She needs to tell you that the Ashkan likes gifts and might like some exquisite shoes. (I believe you can either get his disposition over 70, or offer him the shoes). Once done, ask about the "Nereverine prophecies" and "Nereverine". You should get a dialogue about "Telling him i am the nereverine and show him your proof" or to "politely decline".
Once that's over, you'll have to do a few more laborious tasks for him before he names you the Zainab Nevererine.

I will give it a try, but I don't think it will work, Nerevarine has never appeared under the Topics list.

Nope, didn't work, anyone have any ideas? I would really rather not start over, again..

not to be an evil topic bumper but, I really really really need help, if by 10 PM CST tonight I get no response, Im gonna start over :(

Are you using a PC? If so, there is a console command you can type in to forcibly add specific topics to NPC's dialogue options. I don't know what it is off the top of my head and a quick search of the web hasn't turned it up, but I'm sure Forsythe would know, if you ask him nicely :cheeky: If you're on X-Box....well I don't know.
Edit....Oh hold on, try reading (
www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=55259&highlight=addtopic) this thread, it deals with this issue at some length...hope it helps.

Oh, and 2 more questions, do you have to kill all the Ash Vampires in the game before goign against Dagoth Ur and grab their heart wears, and if you do, do you need to wear them all when you destroy the Heart of Lorkhan?
Jordana Chal on 8/12/2002 at 22:49
Killing the Ash Vampires is optional, as is taking/wearing the Heart artifacts; if you do, the final face off with Mr. Ur will be easier, as the Ash Vamps supply him with power, and offing them will weaken him somewhat. As for the Heart artifacts, they do have some quite useful enchantments, but they're not really necessary; you'll have
Wraithguard
anyway, and provided you're a reasonably high level character you should be OK.
Now go kick his ass :cheeky:

Oh, thxn for clearing that up. I can easily kill him. its just last game, I was unable to beat it for some reason, I didnt grab the heart ring by accident(didnt see it, and didnt know of it yet) and I ran down the path to the Heart, on the way Ur fell off into the lava never to be seen again. I wen to the heart, struck it with Sunder once, the thing completely disappeared in a flash, and nothing happened. Thats the only reason im on my current game, noone would acknowledge that Ur was dead.
