I'm not a Construction Set expert, but here's what I know:
1. In the 3D View, holding down Space, Shift, or V while moving the mouse is how you move or look around the view. Doing each of these corresponds to a different function. I'm not sure if there is a specific function to move the camera over a specific plane only.
2. I don't know.
3. You typically zoom by using the mouse-wheel. There is probably a command to do it without the mouse-wheel, but I don't know it. I'll check.

1.) If you don't have anything selected, hold down Shift and use the mouse to pan around. I use this in combination with the mouse wheel to move the view around. If you have an object selected and hold shift, your view will just rotate around that object (the object will always be kept in the center.)
2.) Hold down Z and click the object you want to move, then drag it up or down (all the while with Z held down! Don't let it go until you're done ;))
3.) Yep, the mouse wheel zooms. I can't find out the keyboard command for zoom either. (Anyone know what hitting 'B' does? Just wondering.)

im pretty sure that pressing "f" with an item selected drops it down to floor level, but some items have a different idea of wot floor level is :thumb:

hey guys i was on vacation for a while but im back. thanks for the info. the editor is workin out great for me. allready created a HUGE island, filled to the top. as well as a cave that is part of the outside world! COOL!

YEAH! It's about time! I always wondering why they didn't have caves for the outside world... Obviously not the big ones. But some of them...

i guess i was pretty stupid to not see in the manual how to do this stuff. to make the cave, i took a cave peice, stuck it in the world and blocked off the edges with rocks, so there were no openings. you have to keep it above ground.
im sure everyone that has the editor has made their house w/ all the naked people and artifacts. Not to mention millions of gold(hehehehe)...:sly:  im more serouse than that. first thing i did when i got it was fixed a ton of glitches. then made people challenging, and realistic. slice me with a sword, i die. the main thing was the stupid stats. put everyone shortblade stats at 100. its so un-realistic to get sliced at, or stabbed with a sword, and not die. also when i get punched i fall. when i get punched 2 times, i die. hard yet real. Hey Black Asp , about V.R. i made a motion sensing glove. i pluged it into the computwhateverport, did a few things, and Vwahlabla? when i move around my hand in a certain way, i grab something in morrowind! its very glithy. i hooked the moniter port into some tv/glasses i made(long time ago) and had vision. next thing to do is make full sensors for turning my head.
anyway, thanks for the help...

Idiot...
Ah, it feels good to be back. My mainboard died about a week or so ago, and naturally I panicked and thought it was the video card that was causing the problem. So I shelled out $200 for the Radeon, and then another $200 to get the A7N8X and XP 2500+... I've yet to actually install Morrowind, but I have a good feeling that these recent upgra, er... replacements... will help to raise my puny sub-10 FPS.
I actually had to <B>bury</B> my old KG7-RAID... I feel so fucking cheap.
