I have weird sleeping patterns since I was 15 y.o., all of this can lead to diabetes if you keep sleeping off the right timing, and several other problems which are not minor.
You should go and see a professional thief, cough cough, sleep doctor.

Indeed, Garret's pretty good at curing insomnia.

So, how does TTLG get themselves to sleep at night, other then a cheap bottle of absinthe?
Switch to an expensive bottle of single malt whiskey. I recommend "The Glenlivet 18 year."
Or, read a bunch of threads in Comm-chat....

I'm surprised no one has told you to play the Cradle map to help you sleep (or haunted cathedral).....
Not tried it, but on the tv show it was meant to be very effective, suppsoedly in days of old those who gathered in the hops would often fall asleep on the job due to the effects !

(scroll down to Hops Pillow for insomnia).
:)
Edit: Of course, you could always take a trip to the Glen Livet distillery, drink all their whisky (no e- it's scottish;)) and then no doubt fall asleep quite quickly.......

After working three 14 hour days in a row (with about 6 weeks more to come) I can confirm that working vintage in a winery makes you sleep like a fucking log the second you wander near a bed.

;)
same can be said for 3 months of graveyard stockboy duty at a grocery store. Trust me, they make sure they get all $6.50/hr worth
