:( I've been looking all over at the Daedric Shrine of Assarnatamat but to no avail. All I find are monsters and no NPC that holds the Item. I'm positive the shoes are there, I've checked several FAQs and Walkthroughs for the Sanguine Items, but no one said anything about this. Is this a bug? I've tried reloading the save but still no one's there. Do I have to make a completely new character? I hope not because it took me several months to get this far. I was so close to getting them all too! :( :tsktsk: :tsktsk: :tsktsk:

If there are no NPCs at all then it probably means that you have already been there and possibly either picked up the shoes and sold/lost it, or left it on his body and then his body goes poof after a day and so does everything on him. If there are NPCs still, perhaps you need to look around more or something.
[SPOILER]Though you can create a pair of shoes inside you inventory by looking in the CS and find the ID for the shoes under the folder called clothing. Then open the console in game by pushing ` and type player->additem "Shoe'sID" 1 If you are xbox you can't do this and will have to start a new game[/SPOILER]

I remember having a similar situation once, searching my ass off for some turdy special shoes of whateva and then finally i found em below a god-cursed pillow in a corner with some bed-mats near one of those big god statues. Not sure if that are those ya are looking for, but give it a try :p
Really faded memories there, mebbe that were gloves. Another place to look would be just behind the statues, on the socket, i think
