I have been sent up to an Ashland camp by Cauis Cosades just after he has decided that I might be the Neraverine (sp?) and the Ashland types in this camp (right at the very north of the mainland) have said that to prove myself, I need to bring back a magic bow from some tombs down south. Now, I believe I have located the right tomb (the one with lots of mummies sat with spears and a big rock spiral leading up to several "sub-tombs") but I cannot find the bow anywhere. I have spent hours practicing alteration so that I can levitate and get up to better places but I still cannot find it.
Would greatly appreciate some help.

Try this:
Go through the Astral Burial chamber (where you entered) through to the Karma Burial and then the Laterus Burial. Follow the rock ledge all the way to the top of Laterus and into the June Burial. At the far end of this chamber part you encounter the Wraith of Sul-Senipul, a rather nasty little ghost, who has the Bonebiter Bow that you must retrieve

*nod* And if you can't find the ghost because you killed it and its body has evaporated (like all bodies eventually do), you'd best reload an earlier save - the bow went with the body.

Really!? All bodies eventually evaporate?
I've not left any bodies liying around as when I did I found dead stuff littering the countryside. I felt that this must be eating the system resources so ever since I've disposed of all corpses.
I'd rather not bother though.
