Hello.
I have downloaded the official Firemoth plugin from the elderscrolls.com site, and played it with enthusiasm. Nothing more fun than ambushing and dispatching scores of skeletons, especially if you are an archer. All was cool and fine, except the final Tomb Room. Once inside, I dispatched all the skeletons there, but the final creature - Grurn I believe - is giving me headaches.
I have cast everything I have in my arsenal on it, and tired different weapons. The dude resists magic regularily, I realize that, but even when he doesn't, I can't out a dent in him! On top of that, he appears to regenerate, as my summoned creatures managed to chip it a bit, but when I hacked him after that, he was at full strength. Anyone can tell me WHAT it takes to kill this guy?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Yup, he has the ability to regenerate health constantly. Your best course of action is to buff up your strength and perhaps your weapon skills, cast reflect magic and start hacking as much as you can!

Yeah... I have to admit, Grurn sure can take a hit well. My char has a strength of 220 and I was weilding Trueflame. It took me a few hits to kill him... but atleast he actually remotely deserved my attention (I was immune to whatever spell he used. I came out full health.) I hope Bloodmoon is tougher ;)
You could always wait until Grurn runs out of magicka then bash his brains in.

I just unpacked the Firemoth plugin into the specified directory, but when I started the game, it didn't show up in Data Files, so I couldn't tick it. What's up? Any ideas?

It extracts in the data/blah, not blah. So extract in ./morrowind or copy/paste.

Sorry, I don't quite understand that. I followed the readme file instructions, as follows:
Quote:
To install the plugin, unzip the files into the Morrowind/Data Files
directory.
Are you saying that I should have put it in c:\morrowind (my MW location), not in c:\ morrowind\data ?
Where should the files resulting from unzipping end up?
Thanks,
Ania

Yeah, you could try unzipping it to C:\Morrowind, or you could unzip it to a temporary folder on desktop. If your left with a Data Files folder after unzipping then you should unzip it again to C:\Morrowind. If you can see the .esp file though then you unzip it to C:\Morrowind\Data Files.

Thanks, I'll try that. I'll report later.
