Not sure if anyone's ran into this, but if I can't figure out how to fix it, there goes 34 hours. I zoned out from a fort and after that, no matter where I am, it says enemies are nearby. Inside the fort, it was fine, but once I zone out, no matter where I'm at, even inside a hotel, even if I go around killing mobs, it still says that. So no repairing, or sleeping.. which means my game's fucked. Anyone encounter this and figure out how to stop it? And there's only one entrance/exit to the fort (quest for the ruler of Bruma). And I don't have any saves before I entered the fort.
Edit: Nevermind, killed all the skeletons in the fort, and waited until morning to leave the fort, now it's working fine.

Yeah, enemies can be somewhat, uh, persistent. Was galloping full speed on some road. See some bandit way ahead, i think "Meh, screw that one". I gallop merrily some more, but for some reason i cant get rid of the battle music despite nothing being around. Since i saw that bandit. So i turn around, gallop back a fair bit, and there he is. Slaughtering deer. So i give him the beating he so obviously desperately wanted and finally i have my goddamn peace.
This game hates cowards. Morale : Never let chase you until tommorrow what you can kill today :p

I had the same thing happen. The game really needs to leash enemies once they've run far enough from their starting locations, I don't want my game hindered because I couldn't be bothered slaying the wolf that's now half a continent away, sloooooooowly making its way toward me.
