Hey guys - I haven't posted in here since waaaaay back in the T2X days. I've recently come home to the forums and am playing a bunch of FM's that I've missed over the years. I'm one of those guys who was around when there were only 10-12 FMs and we played them over and over waiting for T2, so it really is inspiring and heartwarming to see so many people still creating in my favorite world. I've been through a heart transplant and a dozen other life changes since then, and a lot of the 'old guard' is gone for good or even passed away.
The help wanted thing is just this: As I'm getting older, nostalgia is getting the better of me. I've been bothered for years about the decrepit state of The Circle and other front pages. It's high time to convert these portals and set them up with legacy in mind. This will require some writing and organization, which I'm able to do. What I don't have are art and html skills. This seemed the most obvious place to look for help since most everyone here is a creative type and loves these games as much as I do. I'd like to simplify the pages, update and get rid of links appropriately, and essentially transform the whole site into a museum or showcase of sorts for the games and community for future visitors. Right now it all just looks abandoned, and it pains me. I don't even know how to get access to those pages, but I can deal with that if I can get some help with the other stuff. I have some specific ideas of how to do all of this and end up with something that honors the legacy of the games and LGS, as well as the communities they have spawned here.

Thoughts?? Well first: fett. Glad you're still with us! I've had health issues these last few years too that have kept me away, though more heart attack (stents) and hernia related not the major deal you had to endure.

I don't have any helpful HTML skills, but possibly something like WordPress would help? They have lots of user friendly templates and WYSIWYG editor.
You may want to jump on the Dromed Discord channel as a lot of people migrated over to that, and not sure how many are still checking this forum on the regular. Or possibly link to this post in the Fan Mission or Thief Gen forums, as there may be folks there who could help.
