*grin* I'm currently sampling the mazte in The Lucky Lockup in Balmora, if you want to come and find me......we'll see what happens from then on, shall we?
This is shaping up to be really interesting and fun. It reminds of the plot of The Mummy. Maybe Lord Kahn could use it in his mod after all?

Uh... the artifacts are soulgems. And if you want to work with Azura, then... I guess that you, too, will feel Sheogorath's wrath.
EDIT: Fine. I'll edit it. But you've got to have a pretty good filler to pass the time until Morning Star.

((Heh. The more the merrier. Ryushi sides with no gods, just himself. And maybe any friends he meets along the way ;) ))
So. He'd found Jordana's location. It had required a little... effort. As he said before, lives are lost in wars. It's all a part of it.
Ryushi threw open the door of the Lucky Lockup. Balmora... He should have known. He wasn't going to mess around here.
"Where is Jordana?!" The question was roared, each syllable sliding into place easily. It wasn't as much of a question as a command. The sky flashed and thunder rumbled. Each man suddenly became interested in their drinks.
Ryushi wasn't angry. He was, however, in the everyday mood he called 'cheery.' It wasn't very cheery. Infact, one would call it angry if they'd never seen Ryushi mad.
He was about to roar again when he saw a woman sitting at a table in the corner. The shadows made her easy to look over, but there she was. It had to be Jordana. There weren't many women in here.
Ryushi walked up to the table and with another crack of thunder his hand hit the table. The muscles across his arms could be seen flexing silently.
"Jordana?"

((girlfriend wasn't home, bah... and this tornado up in Detroit had better not keep going until wednesday or else our picnic is ruined...))
((BTW: we're just going to assume I'm wherever the hell my remains and my items are, in Venim's tomb or Sheograth, whatever ;))
Tuco raises his weapon...
"Finally. War. Combat. Death. Strife. This has the potential to be a great battle of untold magnitude." Tuco comments to the wind and his enemies. He realizes this, these Daedroth, these strange humans, they are but an appetizer. This will be just a warmup for me. Not an unwanted warm up.
Tuco enjoyed the next few moments, while his body and mind were at his full potential, he had not tasted the bloodlust for some weeks now. His anger at his enemies, his frustration at not having his items, and his love for killing were beginning to fuel his body, his mind, his soul once more.
His Daedric Dai'Katana soared through the air, guided by the skill and craft of years of killing. His enemies, while confident of the massive army their creator had built, were coming like an onslaught, but Tuco's sword was determined.
Dispatching his opponents was easy, handled with excitement, fury and haste. The lack of his only friend, Lilacor, made the event bitter. He needed his sword back.
As he was reveling in his short victory, looking for the entrance, he heard the sound of steam.
Recognizing the sound to be dwemner, he anticipated a few rusty machines. He was wrong. What stood before him was a massive creation, one that impressed Tuco.
He felt worried by the size of the monstrocity, but he knew it to be only a machine.
Like the rest, it could be avoided if not conquered.
Tuco took his measure, memorized his surroundings, then put on his boots of blinding speed, and with unprecedented haste he ran and slammed into the door of Venim's burial, leaving the confused mechanical beast outside.
Now the easy part was over. Tuco could sense his body remains, he could feel Lilacor's voice getting strong now, telling him where the Robe, the Sword, the Axe and the Masque is.
Tuco could sense the axe/sword/robe were in the same area, but the masque, was close... closer than the rest.
Tuco looked for where he had previously fallen. It wasn't the first time he sought vengeance, it wasn't the first time he had come back to life. This was almost routine to him.
He hadn't gotten far before he found where Ryushi had suprised him a month or two earlier, time had no meaning. He could now track where his body went to, however, and the dungeon was almost linear and predictable.
Descending lower he wasn't suprised by the lack of enemies. He knew the place had been infiltrated and re-inforced. If he couldn't sense it, he could see the recent shuffling of footprints, the unsettled dust, the hand prints. They were awaiting him, they were clustered together. Someone with strategy had set this up. It would be not hard.
Someone had moved a large army into the tomb.
((Okay, here's what I'm facing I guess, first I have however many troops Exile has, some mages, Exile himself. I have to go through some passageway cleared out by mining to reach my burial site with my axe/robe/lilacor? and then my masque is on Exile, yes?))
((Also, having Jordana / Ryushi fight Exile over Tuco's soul would be interesting. And I will 'not' fight Exile, Jordana, and Ryushi WITHOUT my equipment))
((and anyone reading this is welcome to enter the story at any time =P))
Exile on 6/5/2003 at 00:21
Come on, man... at least let Ryushi get the gem before you make the entrance come crashing down on him and you put my troops on high alert. Okay, so here's a statistical recap for you, just be sure to enter Venim's tomb *AFTER* Ryushi... Tell a story about a Kagouti that you overestimated or something.
*Where Tuco was at the battle* - unmarked burial caverns just outside ot Ald-Ruhn, very far from Venim Ancestral Tomb.
*Where Tuco's supplies are* - robe, weapons are in the Inner Chamber. You'll have to fight off the 12 Knights, make your way across the lava, and break Sheogorath's curse over the items.
*How much time you have to wait around* - 12 days - just say that you're resting, gathering information, etc.
Now just replace the last seven or so sentences of your story and wait for Ryushi to finish his selfish business.
RyushiBlade on 6/5/2003 at 00:21
((Selfish business? I'm waiting for Jordana, lol. Then I'll be all ready to go, whether Jordana is coming or not.))
Jordana nodded. It was her.
"I come seeking the Azura's Star. The Goddess Azura said you had it... It's important. The soul gem must be used to capture a warrior's soul, a man named Tuco. He is... evil. I killed him, not realizing what he could do, and the power he held... I need that soul gem Jordana. And I need a mage."
He raises his eyebrows at Jordana, the candle light flickering across his face.

ADDENDUM
Day 20 of Sun's Dusk, Year of the Third Empire Four Hundered and Two
Exile's two mages, eager to keep their sanity, have been playing word games. Since about a day ago, they have been fixated on calling out names of different exotic foods. Obviously, they were running short on ideas when one of the mages calls out, "Octopus Testicle!" and the other responds with, "Jew's Ear!"
The tomb falls silent as Exile raises his hand, clad in Daedric ebony on an ebony mail, covered in refined Dwemer iron. Suddenly, and inexplicably, Exile orders that the excavation of the shaft continues. Exile's men reagin their senses and, after hours of additional excavation, ask what the raw glass should be used for. Exile decides to put an impenatrable barrier on the shaft, with the help of his mages. Ironically, this occurs when they are just meters away from the Inner Chamber. Sheogorath smiles upon this incident, and Exile decides to evacuate this portion of the tomb and go into the section of the tomb that holds Bolvyn Venim...
Swiftly, the men move and they meet dozens of undead warriors. The men rip through them in less than ten seconds, as Exile details out his plan to defeat Tuco...
"If Tuco should brave the Chimeri citadel, though, we should at least not have him fight us without the artifacts that he chooses to seek out. Once the Chimeri are dealt with, we will advance into the citadel and face Tuco as he emerges from the Inner Chamber. Until that time, take this oppurtunity to rest and meditate."

Oh, and... Since this occurs in the future... And... Would most likely be stepping on the PC's feet...
Hmm... I don't think that Khan is even watching this post anymore...
RyushiBlade on 6/5/2003 at 01:10
((Ack, I won't be able to post again until tomorrow morning... And then only in my computer class... Khan BETTER make this a book, lol. It'll be a great series))
